General Founder Member:

Any devotee/s fulfilling the membership qualifications and donate at least $500.00 to $1,999.00 as donations will be considered as a General Member. General member doesn’t have voting right. Shall participate in all temple events.

Founder member:

This is type of membership is identified as a participation, recognition & voting right membership with complete assess to temple management. Access to this type of membership is controlled by the Board of Director.

Minimum one-time donation of $ 2000.00 plus signup for a minimum $100.00s monthly contribution or any other amount redefined by the Board of Directors.

Founder Board of Directors:

Any devotee/devotees who donate 3000 or above to purchase the temple at the beginning will be consider as Founder Board of Directors. Founder Board of Directors will make all decision to conduct the Los Angeles Hindu Temple and Cultural Center (LAHTCC) operations.

In future, if any devotee/s interested to become board of director/s will be decided by Founder Board of Directors. Both Founder and Board of Directors will have voting rights.

Executive committee:

Executive committee will form by general meeting, from Founder Board of Directors and General Member. Executive committee will execute the decision of general meeting. Executive committee will consult any issue or discussion with Founder Board of Directors.

General Meeting:

Executive committee will arrange the general meetings by the consent of Founder Board of Directors. Any critical or major decision will make for LAHTCC by the 2/3 vote of Founder Board of Directors.

• Active members preserve the right to participate in all kind of Temple activities.
• Each membership will have one voting right only, however in absence of the member his or her spouse or the immediate family member will be granted the voting power with the verbal or written request of the member.
• Membership will be transferred to his or her spouse or the immediate family member, in the event of a member’s death.
• Members’ will get priority to rent the temple facility at a discounted rate.
• Members’ will be informed and invited for all the events through email or mail or social media.
• If the temple project or temple becomes non-functional, the members’ donation will be refunded based on the current share value of the members’ donated amount.
• Temple/organization activity should be performed in democratic way.

Demonstrated activities against the purposes and philosophies of the organization/Temple as defined in any article of the constitution shall constitute grounds for disqualification of membership. Any disqualified member shall be eligible for reinstatement subject to the approval by Founder Board of Directors.
